Glass-Covered Canopy in a Luxury Residence in Andros: Architectural Transparency by COSPICON SA
In Andros, one of the most cosmopolitan and picturesque islands of the Cyclades, COSPICON SA has recently completed the installation of a striking glass canopy in a luxury private residence. The architectural approach focused on maintaining the natural aesthetics of the landscape, seamlessly integrating the structure into the rocky hillside while preserving uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea.
The canopy was constructed using high-strength glass and custom aluminium framing, offering a sense of lightness and transparency while ensuring full protection from all weather conditions . Beyond its striking visual impact, the canopy also functions as a natural light source for the interior spaces, enhancing the interplay between sunlight, landscape, and contemporary design.
